In 2002 Simon co-founded Lifestyle Future Ltd to provide high quality financial advice in a professional, but friendly and relaxed, manner. Simon specialises in providing ‘later life’ financial advice, predominantly to those who are approaching retirement or already in retirement, and has a particular interest in providing advice to people who require later life care, along with their families.

Simon’s particular interest in long term care fee planning stemmed from when he witnessed the stress that his that his parents suffered when his grandmother moved into residential care in the early 1990s, realising that if they had received advice from an expert in this area, not only would it have been possible to implement financial solutions to ensure that his grandmother’s savings would never run out, but also the value of the peace of mind that this would have provided the family with would have been immeasurable.

Simon has been a fully accredited member of The Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) since 2012, and in addition to specialising in long term care advice, is a SOLLA Retirement Advice Standard holder.

Outside work Simon enjoys life outdoors, and when not chasing a small white ball around a golf course, can often be found enjoying country walks and playing other outdoor sports.
